Uvero Alto is less built up, so the routes are longer and run through real Dominican countryside: cattle fields, cocoa and coconut farms and sandy tracks that reach almost empty beaches.

Best for longer rides

Because the area is bigger, tours here work well for three- to four-hour routes with a beach or river stop halfway.
